Sally Salerno is an award-winning photographer who has dedicated the last decade to taking awe-inspiring newborn and family photos. One of her proudest achievements as a Raleigh newborn photographer is being a three-time recipient of the Photography Magazine Excellence Award for Newborns (2016, 2017, 2018). She has also been voted one of the Best Newborn Photographers in Raleigh by Expertise.com.
I am a fun-loving wife and mother of three amazing children. My kids are my whole wide world and I love them to pieces! I have a college degree in Photography. And oh my yes—you can go to a four-year college and end up studying photography, even if your parents aren’t too happy about it!
I graduated from Montclair State University in Northern New Jersey in 2000 and I left New York City in 2009. I have lived in Raleigh ever since. After making the area my second home, I started dedicating my time to my newborn photography services.
I am seriously passionate about creating memories for you and your family. Photographs speak a thousand words and can tell stories to your children, and their children, and their children (you get the point!).
My Raleigh Studio
Over the last few years I’ve worked in tight quarters to get the perfect shots, and I’m thankful to have taken beautiful pictures for hundreds of parents. But—I’m even more thankful to announce my new studio! It’s so nice to have my own space that is designed to be a cute and comfortable environment for baby and parents.
My studio offers a beautiful wooden wall that’s perfect for family and prop shots. You’ll also find tons of different props, including headbands, hats, and outfits to fit any theme for your newborn photoshoot. There’s even a separate space for bean bag posing to capture those super adorable shots!
Last but (most definitely!) not least, my new studio has a super comfortable area for mom and dad to relax and soak in the experience. Let us take care of your baby while you sit back and recharge, even if just for a few hours!
