Planning Your Raleigh Newborn Photography Session
There is something incredibly special about watching families grow, and this session was one I’ll always treasure. As a Raleigh newborn photographer, one of the greatest joys of my work is welcoming returning families back into my studio and documenting each new chapter of their story.
Baby Ainsley is the third newborn I’ve had the honor of photographing for this wonderful family, making this session even more meaningful. It’s such a privilege when families trust me to preserve these once-in-a-lifetime memories, and seeing everyone together again was a reminder of just how quickly the years pass.
Ainsley arrived at the studio surrounded by so much love from her four older siblings, two big sisters and two big brothers. They were so proud to meet their newest baby sister, and their excitement made every family portrait even sweeter.
One of my favorite images from the session is of Ainsley wrapped up snugly and safely nestled in the arms of her oldest sister while all four siblings gathered around her. It’s a portrait that captures more than just a moment, it tells the story of a family growing together and the special bond these brothers and sisters are already building. I know this is a photograph they’ll treasure for years to come.
Throughout the session, we created a beautiful collection of timeless newborn portraits featuring soft, neutral tones that keep the focus right where it belongs, on precious baby Ainsley and the love surrounding her. From individual newborn portraits to sibling and family images, every photograph celebrates this exciting new season for their family.
One of the questions I hear most from expecting parents is whether siblings can be included in a newborn session. The answer is absolutely! Sibling photographs are often some of the most meaningful images we create. Whether it’s a gentle cuddle, tiny hand holding, or a proud big sister beaming as she holds her new baby sibling, these moments become priceless memories that families cherish for generations.
As a Raleigh newborn photographer, I strive to create a calm, welcoming studio experience where parents can relax while I safely pose and photograph their newest little one. Every session is designed to capture not only the tiny details of your newborn but also the love and connection that make your family’s story unique.
If you’re expecting and looking for a Raleigh newborn photographer, I would love to help you preserve these fleeting first days with your baby. My studio welcomes families from Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, and throughout the Triangle. I recommend reserving your newborn session during your second trimester so your due date is saved on my calendar and we can create timeless images your family will cherish forever.
